Criminal Threats

A McPherson man is jailed after an argument turned violent in a grocery store parking lot.

Police arrested 31-year-old Dustin J. Phillips on Sunday morning at the Dillons Supermarket at 1201 W. Crawford.

Police say Phillips took a knife and cut a tire on his girlfriend’s car and then threatened to kill her as the two argued outside the store.

He is now facing charges of criminal threat and damage to property.

Loss is $100.
