Counterfeit Bill Turns Up at Salina Restaurant

Salina Police are investigating a counterfeit bill that was passed at a Salina restaurant.

The incident occurred on June 27 between 10:45-11 P.M.

Capt. Paul Forrester tells KSAL News that the suspect bought $6-$7 worth of food from Sonic at 2615 Market and paid with a counterfeit $100 bill.

The suspect then received back over $90 in change.

Forrester says that authorities are in search of a white male subject, bald head, tattoos and around the age of 30.
