Police are investigating a robbery at a Salina fast food shop.

According to Lt. Scott Siemsen an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the Subway restaurant, 1014 E. Crawford, after a robbery on Saturday night just after closing at 10:15pm.

A 23-year-old female employee told officers that a suspect, described as a black male with a black hooded jacket approached her outside of the business, demanded money and showed her a handgun.

Police say they are actively investigating the case.

No one was hurt in the incident.
