Salina Police are looking for a driver who allegedly hit a man with car, twice.
Captain Mike Sweeney says a 37-year-old Salina man was transported to the hospital to be treated for injures to his legs and head after being run down by a maroon colored Grand AM or Grand Prix on Tuesday night at about 9:45pm
The victim told officers he was walking in the 700 block of N. 9th when a white male jumped out of the car and chased him.
He was able to flee his assailant – but the same car appeared a short time later when he was walking in the 800 block of Broadway.
The man had contusions and scrapes on his legs and head after the car reportedly hit him twice, knocking him down.
The investigation is ongoing and no other description of the two people in the maroon vehicle was available.
