Burglary Interrupted

KSAL StaffApril 2, 2014

A burglar is chased away from a Salina business.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that a maintenance person at All-Star Lanes, 624 S. Broadway, confronted a burglar early Wednesday morning just before 5am.

Police are looking for a white male who pried open a door at the bowling alley and then tried to open the safe.

The suspect ran out the back door after he had already rummaged through the main counter area and broke a window on the office door.

Police say he was wearing black pants and black sweatshirt with a camouflage mask.

Staff told police nothing was stolen, total damage is estimated at $1,010.
