Burglary and Vehicle Damaged

Salina Police are investigating a burglary and theft case in the 800 block of West North Street. Police say the resident came home after being gone over the weekend to find the door open and a couple of phones missing. A Samsung Galaxy phone and an LG flip phone are listed as a $600 loss.

Police are also looking into a damage to property case after a car’s back window is smashed. Ronald Linenberger, of Salina told officers that he heard a a loud noise outside his home in the 100 block of South Kansas at about 7:30pm Friday night. When he looked out a window he saw that someone had thrown a ceramic pumpkin through the back glass of his 2013 Oldsmobile Alero. Total damage is listed at $600.
