Burglars Hit Businesses On Walnut

Salina Police are investigating a series of business burglaries.

Police say that sometime between 7:30 Wednesday night and 7:30 this morning, burglars hit three businesses in the 300 Block of East Walnut.

The businesses include Prairieland Market at 305 E. Walnut, Uptown Salon at 307 E. Walnut, and American Family Insurance at 309 E. Walnut.

A door was forced open at American Family Insurance, As of late Thursday afternoon nothing was noted missing.

Once entry was made, a hole was knocked through the drywall to gain entry into the Uptown Salon. $500 cash is missing, a Verizon Jet Pack (mobile hot spot instrument), and hair products.

At Prairieland Market, a door was forced open. Missing is $115 cash, a case of turkey slices and 12 packs of ground beef.
