A Salina teen is arrested after a string of vehicle burglaries.
Officers were called to the area of Hamilton and N. 8th Street after a car alarm sounded at 1:07am Friday morning.
Police began combing the area for a suspect and found 17-year-old Jacob Luther inside a car parked near the corner of Santa Fe and Otis.
Police arrested Luther after linking him to items stolen from other vehicles in the overnight hours on N. 4th Street and N. 7th Street as well.
Items and money taken from the vehicles did not exceed $100.
The teen was taken to juvenile services and is facing 6 counts of burglary and 4 count of theft.
