Boeing is officially back in the Wichita area.

The company announced yesterday that it has reacquired Spirit Aerosystems 20 years after they sold it off.

The two companies announced the acquisition deal in July 2024, and regulatory approvals were needed before the deal could take effect.

The acquisition is worth four-point-seven billion dollars.
