The body of a Salina man is recovered from Milford Lake.

According to the Geary County Sheriff’s Office, the body of 65-year-old Stephen Edwards was recovered Wednesday.

Authorities had been searching for Edwards since Sunday. He went into the water to retrieve a fishing pole and didn’t resurface. Edwards was fishing with a grandson and friend at the time.

Edwards was a long-time Salina resident.
