Arrest Made after Foot Chase

A Lincoln, Kansas man is now facing additional charges in Salina for violating a protection order.

Police say 32-year-old Clinton Cheney ran away from police on Tuesday afternoon around 4:30pm after being confronted by officers in the 2200 block of Wesley.

Several police units responded to the area and Cheney was apprehended a short time later in a front yard at 2136 Raymond.

According to Captain Mike Sweeney, officers found him in possession of personal use meth and drug paraphernalia as well.
