Thaine is a social studies teacher at South Middle School. He has been teaching for 12 years, with this being his fifth year at South Middle. Thaine was inspired to become a teacher while in college
when he was coaching youth sports. He knew his calling was working with children and wanted to help make an impact on their lives. His favorite part of teaching is connecting and conversing with his students. He enjoys the memories created in the classroom that last a lifetime. A fun fact about Thaine is that he was crowned “Big Man on Campus” at Fort Hay State University in 2005.
