A trailer is stolen from a Salina roofing business. Police say that a gray, dual axle trailer was stolen from Ryan Roofing at 826 North 13th Street. The trailer was taken sometime before May 13th. The trailer, which was empty, is valued at $2,000.

A Salina man is accused of stealing a check from his brother and forging it. Police say that 22-year-old Ike Coffman was arrested on Tuesday in connection with an outstanding municipal court warrant. During the arrest, a check belonging to Coffman’s brother, which had been filled out, was recovered. Coffman allegedly took the check from the middle of his brother’s checkbook earlier in the day. He could face new charges that include forgery and theft.
