Craig Allen Weyand, 54, of Salina, KS, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026. He was born on August 12, 1972, in Wichita, KS, to parents Gerald and Freda (Duffey) Weyand.

Craig was raised in Norton, KS, where he graduated high school in 1990. He attended Kansas State University before transferring to Johnson County Community College to finish his studies in the culinary arts. Craig spent over 20 years cooking in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado before returning to Kansas to settle down and be closer to family. He was a cook at Salina Regional Hospital for the past six years.

Survivors include his wife, Misty (Heller) Weyand; step-children, Shawn, Nick, Marlie, and Spencer; siblings, Carla Miller (Richard) and Curtis Weyand (Michelle); and niece and nephews, Ryan and Rylee Miller, and Corey and Connor Weyand.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation was chosen and no services are planned at this time.
