No one was injured after a fire in an unoccupied home in Salina.

Fire Chief Shane Pearson tells KSAL News that Thursday morning around 7:15am, crews were sent to the 200 block of South College to fight a house fire.

Chief Pearson says it appears the blaze started in the back of the boarded-up house and moved into the structure.

The property has no utilities hooked up and the the incident remains under investigation.
