Police are investigating after a large amount of cash went missing from a safe inside a Salina home.

Police Captain Jim Feldman says officers were sent to a home in the 500 Block of Berkshire Wednesday morning to the report of a burglary. The resident reports that sometime between September 1st and November 11th cash went missing from his safe.

There is no sign of forced entry to the safe. Police are working to determine a suspect.

Loss is listed at $8,000.
