The city of Hutchinson is temporarily suspending water service disconnections for late payments.

City officials announced yesterday that uncertainty due to the federal government shutdown may be causing financial strain for some residents.

Any resident experiencing financial difficulties is encouraged to contact the City of Hutchinson Utility Billing Office to discuss payment arrangements.
