A utility terrain vehicle found abandoned in a field in rural Saline County is believed to have been stolen.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, a possible owner came forward and at this time there appears to have been a theft. Investigators  are still working this matter.

The Land Pride UTV was found abandoned in a field in the 2800 block of W. Pleasant Hill Road on Saturday.

The vehicle was left behind after someone ran through a barbed wire fence, damaging 30-feet of wire and 3 to 4 fence posts.
