A Salina woman who was wanted on an outstanding warrant was taken into custody on Sunday morning after fighting with police officers.

Police Lt. Andrew Zeigler tells KSAL News that the woman was spotted near the hospital in the 400 block of S. Santa Fe and was then found in the area of 12th and Morrison.

Police used a body wrap to take 25-year-old Mariah Peterson into custody for interfering with law enforcement and for the warrant out of Saline County.
