A teenager was killed in a crash involving a motorcycle and a van Tuesday evening.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 16-year-old Blake Reese of Kingman was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle headed south on NE 70th avenue in Kingman County. He failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into  a Ford Econoline van.

Reese was killed in the crash. The van’s driver and six teenage passengers were not injured.

The crash happened at 6:55 Tuesday evening, about five miles southeast of Pretty Prairie.
