A former Wyandotte County prosecutor is running for Kansas Attorney General.

Democrat Chris Mann announced his candidacy for the 2026 election yesterday.

Mann, who is also a former Lawrence police officer who was struck by drunk driver during a traffic stop in 2002, previously ran for attorney general in 2022 and lost to current Attorney General Kris Kobach.
