Margaret Kim Neaderhiser, 65, of Smolan, Kansas, passed away Thursday, September 8th, 2022.

Margaret was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 28, 1956, a daughter of Jean (Griggs) and Don McConnell.

In 2004, she and her daughter, Laura, opened The Tangled Thread, a legacy that will continue on.

Survivors include two daughters, Laura Kendrick (Nathan), of Smolan, Jenna Weaver (Sam), of Knob Noster, Missouri; son, Stephen Neaderhiser, of Canton, Ohio; 7 grandchildren, Moira Kendrick, Trevor Kendrick, Olivia Kendrick, Daphne Weaver, Penelope Weaver, Juliet Weaver, and Mabel Weaver.

Margaret is also survived by three sisters, Vicky Bunger (Steve), of Haysville, Kansas; Janet Melson (Chad), of Hamilton, Ohio, and Donna McGilvray (Pat), of Salina, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Steve Neaderhiser

Burial will take place at 9:00 am, Thursday, September 15th at Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, Kansas.

A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 15th at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory in Salina, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Laura Kendrick for Margaret’s grandchildren’s college funds, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas 67401.
