900 Packs of Cigarettes Stolen

Cases of cigarettes were stolen off a delivery truck.

Salina Police are investigating a theft case from last week.

Police say someone entered a truck from DSG Transportation/St. Joe Distributing while it was parked in the 2100 block of W. Crawford on Thursday morning between 6am and 6:30am.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that someone entered the unlocked and unattended truck and stole 3 cases of cigarettes, or about 900 packs of various brands of cigarettes valued at $3,000.
