3 Salina Stores Burglarized

KSAL StaffOctober 17, 2016

Burglars hit three downtown stores in Salina over the weekend.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that thieves broke into the back door at Iron Street Tattoo, 113 E. Iron and then gained access to Income Tax Services, 115 E. Iron and Salina Vapor, 117 E. Iron by punching through the back walls of the stores that share a common back hallway.

Police say burglars stole an Apple iPhone from Salina Vapor and a vape pen plus $200 cash was removed from a safe.

Loss and damage is estimated at $1,000.
