KSAL StaffJuly 11, 2014

A disturbance at a Salina bar, rekindles in a parking lot where a gun is allegedly fired.

Salina Police responded to the Inferno Club, 112 N. Santa Fe, just before 2am after two groups began arguing in the back area of the establishment.

Officers split up  the disturbance between about twenty people without incident.

About an hour later, a 20-year-old man called police to report someone had aimed a handgun at him and pulled the trigger – after the two groups met again at a lot in the 2000 block of E. Crawford.

The victim told officers a black male fired a shot at him but missed.

No one was injured.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that no shell casing was found at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing as police interview witnesses.
