A man is recovering after he fell into a grain bin earlier this week in Cheyenne County.

According to Bird City EMS sources, the unidentified victim spent about two hours in the bin on Tuesday, buried up to his chest, before rescuers arrived on scene.

The rescue team reportedly needed about 90 minutes to extract him.

Team members say the victim was airlifted to Hays for observation.
