A Wichita swimming pool is closed due to vandalism.

Wichita city officials say that someone set fire to 30 chairs, sunshades and other equipment at the Aley Pool early yesterday morning.

The fire caused 53-thousand-dollars in damage, and the pool at 18-hundred South Seneca will remain closed until repairs are made.
