Vehicular Burglary

KSAL StaffAugust 14, 2013

It was reported to police that Tuesday night three young boys broke in to seven different cars on five different streets.

A neighbor noticed some suspicious activity going on around some of the cars on the street and reported it to the police. The police soon arrived to find a 14-year-old boy stepping out of a car that he had been rummaging through. The boy told police that  he knew the owner of the vehicle.

The owner of the vehicle, come to find out, did not know the boy at all.

Police soon found the other two boys, a 16 and a 17-year-old. All three boys currently live in a group home on the 600 block of Gypsum, Making The Connection.

The boys were all arrested for 7 cts. of vehicular burglary.
