Hundreds of union workers are on strike at the Frito Lay plant in Topeka, Kansas.

Officials say more than 500 workers started picketing Monday after members of the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers, and Grain Millers Local 218 voted down a tentative agreement with Frito Lay on Friday and Saturday.

Officials are unsure how long the strike will last.
