Tax Revenue Falls Below Projections

Tax revenue in Kansas is falling below expectations.

The Kansas state treasury received 13-point-seven-million-dollars less tax revenue from income, sales and other sources between July and November than expected.

During the first five months of the fiscal year, Kansas took in three-point-six-four-billion-dollars in tax revenue, which is point-four-percent less than was expected, but one-point-eight-percent higher than last year.
