Stephenson Resigns From Access TV

The help-wanted sign is out at Salina Community Access TV.

According to the organization, Executive Director Marcia Stephenson has resigned her position from effective mid-October. She will be working with the organization to make a smooth management transition over the next several weeks.

Stephenson took over as Executive Director in September 2008 and is the fourth Executive Director since the organization started television production in 1993.

The Access TV Board of Directors would like to thank Stephenson for her five years of service. They are pleased to announce that Marnie Rhein, Production and Outreach Manager, has accepted the position of Interim Executive Director.

Rhein has been a member of the Access TV Staff since 2005 when she was hired as the Volunteer and Training Coordinator. She has since held several positions including Government and Education Production Coordinator and Director of Production.

Access TV is a non-profit organization making the training and resources available to community members wishing to create their own television programs.
