KSAL StaffNovember 14, 2016
Police make an arrest after a property owner finds his chain link fence sold for scrap.

A suspected truck thief is arrested after he allegedly spray painted a stolen Honda.

Police arrested 21-year-old Malachi Lageman of Salina after investigators found a 2006 Honda Ridgeline truck parked behind his home in the 100 block of E. Bond on Saturday.

The vehicle, which is valued at $10,000 now has $4,000 in damage to the exterior after Lageman allegedly spray painted the truck black.

Police say the vehicle was reportedly stolen from the 200 block of Seitz Drive on Thursday.
