Sheriff Roger Soldan tells KSAL News that he wants local residents to be aware of asphalt salesmen after one was reported in Saline County.

Soldan says that a female called in about an asphalt salesmen coming to her home in the 3800 block of E. Spillman Rd.

The lady said that the salesmen did not have a card when she asked for one and that the only description she could provide was that he drove away in a white pickup.

Soldan says to be careful when an asphalt salesmen offers to do work on a property. There have been some cases around the area where customers have been unsatisfied with their work or not received any work at all after making payments. He reminds residents to always research any asphalt company before making payments.
