Salina Woman Facing Counterfeit Charges

KSAL StaffDecember 19, 2016

A Salina woman was arrested on Friday after she allegedly tried to pass a counterfeit bill at a gas station.

Officers arrested 38-year-old Kristina M. Albers after staff at Rod’s Total, 1401 S. Santa Fe called police after Albers tried to use a bogus $50 bill to pay for merchandise at the store.

Police say she gave a false name to officers during her interview and is being charged with theft by deception and interference with a law enforcement officer.
