A woman is found months after cutting an acquaintance with a knife.

Salina Police arrested 20-year-old Ashley Morris on a warrant Wednesday for allegedly slashing a 19-year-old man with a utility knife during an argument in a home on September 15th.

Police say the hospital used 21 staples to close the victim’s chest wound.

Authorities learned of the incident on September 22nd and issued a warrant for Morris when they could not locate her.

Morris is now facing charges that include aggravated battery and criminal threat.
