Counterfeit money was passed at a Salina business this week. Police say that sometime between Tuesday and Thursday of this week a counterfeit $20 bill was used to make a purchase at the 24 /7 Convenience Store located at 2230 N. 9th Street. The bill was discovered in a bank deposit.

Police say that over $5,000 worth of tires were stolen from a Salina business. Sometime this week on Monday or Tuesday, 8 semi truck tires were stolen from Commercial Tire Center at 2144 W. Crawford. The tires were taken from an enclosed trailer. There was no sign of forced entry. Total loss is $5,475.00.
