The Kansas City Royals are considering building a new stadium in Kansas.

The Royals released a statement on Saturday announcing that they are exploring the option of using STAR bonds as a means to move to the Sunflower State.

The Kansas City Chiefs are considering a similar option, and the Kansas Legislature is expected to discuss using STAR bonds to fund new stadiums during a special session that starts on June 18th.
