Several Wichita State University employees are looking for answers after their payroll funds with stolen by hackers.

That’s the word from campus authorities, who say the high-tech diverted university direct-deposited payroll funds to third-party accounts via spam and/or phishing emails asking for “myWSU” credentials.

Affected employees are urged to change their passwords and check their account balances.
