Kooper Ray Jensen

Kooper Ray Jensen passed away on February 15, 2026. Born on July 22, 2009, Kooper was known by many for his “old soul” and his passion for U.S. history, aviation, and music.
A dedicated student of life, Kooper loved uncovering his heritage and searching for treasures while walking outdoors. He was a collector of moments and artifacts—a walker of trails who found magic in heritage and “insane” wonders in the everyday.
His older brother, Peyton, was not just family but his best friend; the two were inseparable, sharing hours over meals, workouts, and the kind of deep conversations about life that only brothers can have. His sister, Aly, was his steadfast advocate, always standing by his side whenever he needed her.
Dustin and Stephanie will forever carry the echoes of Kooper’s goofy laugh and his genuine eagerness to hear family tales. They will miss his helping hand in the kitchen, his unique perspective on the world, and his infectious laughter. Though he will no longer take the dogs for a ride, swing at the park, or remind his parents they are “getting old,” his presence remains unshakable. Kooper lived with a thoughtful intensity and a playful wit. He was loved deeply, and the void he leaves behind is as vast as the history he so loved. While he left this world too soon, his memory will be kept alive by the family who loved him and the stories he so cherished.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., February 27, at Heartland Worship Center, 118 S. Eighth Street, Salina, KS 67401. Condolences for the family may be left at www.wilsonfamilyfuneralhome.com
