Nearly $2,000 Stolen From Salina Restaurant

Police are investigating after a large amount of cash was stolen from a Salina restaurant.

Police Captain Mike Sweeney says that a burglar targeted the Taco John’s at 303 South Santa Fe.

Sometime on Monday, in the overnight hours between about 12:30 and 5:30, $1,953 was stolen. The money was taken from a safe.

There was no forced entry to the building.
