A motorcyclist in northeast Kansas has died after a pickup truck pulled in front of him.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 49-year-old Kurt Lucas was killed Thursday near Perry-Lecompton High School. They say the 49-year-old truck driver didn’t yield to the Lucas while making a turn.
Lucas tried to avoid the collision but hit the back of the truck. He wasn’t wearing a helmet.
The truck driver wasn’t injured.
No charges have been reported.
