Kansas is taking steps to legalize medical marijuana.

A bill that would legalize medical marijuana in the state has been approved by the House Committee on Federal and State Affairs.

The measure could soon head to the Kansas House of Representatives for consideration. If approved, the license, manufacture and sale of medical marijuana would be allowed in Kansas.
