The city of Wichita and McConnell Air Force Base are teaming up for childcare.

The “Operation Child Care” initiative is designed to provide affordable childcare service to military families.

The organization Child Start will provide daycare and educational services for military families at a subsidized cost, and the U.S. Department of Defense will reimburse them at the service rate.
