A Harvey County man is headed to prison for child sex crimes.

Jerad Carmichael of Sedgwick was sentenced this week to more than 18-years in prison. He pleaded guilty in May to rape of a child under 14 and aggravated criminal sodomy.

The crimes took place between April 2023 and April 2024.
