Kansas residents are getting rid of tons of unwanted medication.
Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt says Kansans safely disposed of nearly eight-thousand pounds of unused medicines during National Drug Take Back Day on October 29th.
More than 122 tons of unused medication has been collected in Kansas since the event started in 2010.
