I have a confession. I hate Halloween.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great holiday for kids. Dress up in a silly costume, get free candy. What’s to hate about that. But I feel there should be a cutoff age. For me that age was about 11. You could probably talk me into extending the age limit to 13 or 14 but once you hit High School, the free candy party is over.

If you own a car, you shouldn’t be trick or treating.

If you have kids of your own, you shouldn’t be trick or treating.

If you’d prefer a rib-eye to Laffy Taffy, you shouldn’t be trick or treating.

Now as an adult if you want to put on a silly costume, have at it. As for me, I’ll pass. After all I look silly enough the way it is.
