Kansas Governor Laura Kelly is taking steps to address wildfires in the state.
The governor announced the creation of the Wildfire Task Force yesterday.
The group, which will be led by Kansas Secretary of Agriculture Mike Beam, will create recommendations for how communities can prevent, respond to and recover from wildfires.
