No one was injured after fire destroyed an abandoned farmhouse.

According to Saline County Undersheriff Brent Melander, on Saturday around 3am, firefighters from RFD#3 were sent to the 4000 block of N. Brookville Road and found the structure fully engulfed in flames.

Owner, Shane Schneider of Culver, Kansas told deputies the house was being used for storage only.

Loss is estimated between $10,000 and $15,000.

Investigators believe the cause of the blaze was electrical in nature.
