Fast Food Employee Fired For Insensitive Remark

A Kansas fast food restaurant employee is out of a job after leaving an insensitive remark on an order for a police officer and his fiance.

The officer and his fiance went to a Taco Bell in Newton on Saturday night and when they received their order they found the word “pig” written on two burrito wrappers. The couple believed that the word referred to the officer’s work in law enforcement.

Taco Bell officials say that the employee in question was fired and the company will hold a community event with Newton police to show the fast food chain’s support of the town’s officers.
