A Salina man is facing charges for promoting obscenity.

A father and his 16-year-old daughter drove to police headquarters on Wednesday after the girl received a sexually explicit picture on her Facebook account from a man she used to work with.

Police arrested 25-year-old Jonathan Lewis of Salina Wednesday, on charges of distributing obscene material to a minor.

Police say Lewis sent a nude photo of himself to the girl while she was at school.

The two were acquainted through a former employer.
